Complete guide to setting up your store and managing orders on Sant hai.

Getting Started as a Seller

1. Register Your Seller Account

Sign up at registration page and complete your seller profile:

  • Business Name/Nick Name
  • Store location and address
  • Phone number and email
  • Payment information (Zelle, WhatsApp)
  • Business hours (optional)

2. Get Your QR Code

Generate a unique QR code that customers can scan to access your brand page. Your QR code links to your personalized storefront (e.g., yourstore.santhai.online).

Display this QR code:

  • In your physical store
  • On product packaging
  • In marketing materials
  • On social media posts

3. Enable Real-Time Orders

Toggle "Enable Real-Time Orders" in your seller settings to receive instant notifications when customers place orders. This requires keeping your real-time dashboard open.

Managing Products

Adding Products

Go to Manage Products and click "Add Product":

  • Product name and description
  • Price and available stock
  • Category selection
  • Product images (up to 5 photos)
  • Shipping/delivery options
  • Custom field templates (optional)

Bulk Upload

For adding multiple products at once:

  1. Download the Excel template
  2. Fill in product details
  3. Upload the completed file
  4. Review and confirm imports

Bulk upload supports product creation and updates using SKU matching.

Custom Field Templates

Create reusable custom field templates for products that need customization:

  • Clothing sizes
  • Color options
  • Measurements (e.g., blouse measurements for sarees)
  • Gift messages
  • Special instructions

Processing Orders

Order Workflow

  1. New Order (Pending): Customer places order → Accept or Decline
  2. Confirmed: Order accepted → Wait for payment (if COD/Zelle)
  3. Processing: Payment received → Prepare order for delivery
  4. Out for Delivery: Order dispatched
  5. Delivered: Order completed successfully

Real-Time Dashboard

The real-time orders dashboard shows:

  • Live order notifications via WebSocket
  • Customer details and delivery address
  • Order items with custom field values
  • Payment method and status
  • Inline actions (Accept, Mark Paid, Deliver)

Order Actions

Accept Order: Review order details and click "Accept" to confirm.

Mark Payment Received: After receiving COD/Zelle payment, update status to "Processing".

Mark as Delivered: After successful delivery, mark order as "Delivered".

Payment & Payouts

Accepting Payments

  • Cash on Delivery: Collect payment when delivering
  • Zelle: Provide your Zelle QR code for instant bank transfers
  • WhatsApp: Customers contact you to arrange payment

Zelle Setup

Upload your Zelle QR code in seller settings. This QR code will be shown to customers at checkout.

Best Practices

  • Keep product information accurate and up-to-date
  • Upload high-quality product images
  • Respond to orders promptly (within 1-2 hours)
  • Communicate delivery times clearly
  • Use custom fields to reduce order errors
  • Enable real-time notifications during business hours
  • Update order status regularly
  • Maintain good customer communication

Your Brand Subdomain

When customers scan your QR code or visit your brand link, they see:

  • Your brand logo and name
  • Only your products (filtered view)
  • Your store information
  • Direct checkout to you

Subdomain format: yourbrandname.santhai.online
